Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Senior Specialist to lead UCITS fund registration across Europe and international markets, supporting new launches and market expansion. You will collaborate with Product, Legal, Compliance, Distribution, and Capital Markets to ensure registrations and listings are compliant and timely, while driving improvements in processes and controls.

The role is hybrid, with in-office days and a focus on scalable, regulatory-compliant market access across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution and ongoing management of Vanguard's UCITS fund registration programme across European and international markets.
• Coordinate registration and market access requirements for new fund launches and product changes.
• Partner with Product, Capital Markets, Legal, Compliance, regulators, exchanges, and external service providers to ensure seamless registration and ETF listing activities.
• Conduct impact assessments and oversee implementation plans to meet regulatory and operational deadlines.
• Manage relationships with external providers and listing agents, driving high standards of service and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance scalability across market access activities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and market practices to support compliant decision-making.

As a Senior Specialist, you will be at the heart of Vanguard's fund registration and ETF exchange listing activity, supporting strategic growth initiatives, new product launches, and market expansion opportunities. Working closely with colleagues across Product, Legal, Compliance, Distribution, and Capital Markets, you will help ensure our funds remain accessible to investors while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and operational excellence. • Lead the execution and ongoing management of Vanguard's UCITS fund registration programme across European and international markets

What it takes

• Experience within asset management, fund operations, regulatory operations, fund governance, compliance, legal, or a related function
• Strong understanding of UCITS funds, ETF structures, cross-border fund distribution, and market access requirements
• Experience managing fund registrations, exchange listings, regulatory filings, or similar operational activities across multiple jurisdictions
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, build strong stakeholder relationships, and coordinate activities across internal and external partners
• A proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented approach, with strong communication skills and a focus on continuous improvement

This is a hybrid position and would require you to work in the office 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
