Fund Finance Senior Associate - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Our client, a leading international City law firm is seeking a talented Fund Finance Senior Associate to join its London-based team on a 6-month fixed term contract. With a strong presence across global financial centres, the firm is renowned for its breadth of expertise and collaborative culture.

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a highly regarded fund finance practice, advising on sophisticated transactions across multiple jurisdictions. The team has played a key role in shaping the fund finance market and continues to advise on a wide range of fund-related finance and leverage products. You will work on complex financings for funds across the UK, Luxembourg, the US, Asia Pacific, and offshore jurisdictions including Jersey, Guernsey and the Cayman Islands.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising on fund finance transactions including subscription, NAV, bridge, co-investment and management company financings
  • Acting for a broad spectrum of fund types including private equity, secondaries, infrastructure, direct lending and special situations
  • Drafting and negotiating finance documentation
  • Collaborating with colleagues across jurisdictions to deliver seamless advice
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Candidate profile:

  • Qualified solicitor with 7+ years' post-qualification experience in fund finance
  • Experience gained at a top-tier law firm with a recognised finance practice
  • Strong academic background (minimum 2:1 degree)
  • Excellent drafting and written communication skills
  • Technically proficient with a commercial approach
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to lead transactions and support junior colleagues
