Twenty AI are partnering with a leading European private equity firm who are looking for a Fund Controller to join their team.

The Firm specialisein private equity, infrastructure, and private credit, maintaining a strong presence across Europe, North America, and Asia.

Role Overview:

This position reports to the Senior Fund Controller and will be responsible for supporting the management of flagship private equity funds, focusing on financial reporting, investor relations, and treasury operations. This role involves collaboratingwith internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial packs and investor reports.
  • Coordinate with third-party depositaries under AIFMD regulations.
  • Support the preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Lead drawdown and distribution processes.
  • Collaborate with the Investor Relations team on investor requests.
  • Participate in the quarterly valuation process and year-end audited valuation cycle.
  • Update accounting software and monitor bank accounts daily.
  • Review investment committee minutes for decisions impacting funds.
  • Liaise with staff across various offices as necessary.
  • Assist in reviewing and monitoring treasury aspects, including FX strategies and related reporting.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and assume additional responsibilities as delegated.
  • Oversee and assist in the development of a Junior Fund Controller.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • ACA or ACCA finalist level or newly qualified.
  • Experience using eFront software is advantageous.
  • Prior valuations experience is beneficial.
  • Experience in private equity is preferred.
