Job description

We have vacancies in our Fund Services team where you will be responsible for servicing our portfolio of clients. You will work as part of a team to meet their needs. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the bookkeeping and reporting of funds and associated fund structures.
  • Assist with the preparation of management accounts and financial statements under UK GAAP or IFRS, including primary statements and notes using trial balances and related documentation.
  • Assist the team with the annual audit process.
  • Assist with processing fund capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, and redemptions.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, board members, and third-party intermediaries such as banks, lawyers, accountants, and tax advisors, both in person and via written or telephone communication.
  • Assist with the preparation, collation, and ongoing monitoring of KYC and Client Due Diligence Files.
  • Process client payments on various bank platforms.
  • Assist with fund-related regulatory and compliance processes.
  • Monitor and deliver finance and compliance KPIs.
  • Support ad hoc projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to A-Level or University Degree (degrees in finance or accounting are preferred but not mandatory).
  • Studying or willing to study for a relevant professional qualification such as ACCA or ACA.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Strong team spirit, ability to build client relationships, and proactive initiative.
  • Ambitious, energetic, and committed.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High IT literacy, especially in Excel and Word.
