A leading independent financial services firm in Southampton is seeking an experienced accountant to join their Real Assets team. You will assist in accounting matters, prepare management accounts, and help train junior staff. Ideal candidates should be studying towards a relevant professional qualification and have over 2 years of experience in accounting. The firm offers a range of benefits including hybrid working and a discretionary bonus scheme.
Reports to the Financial Reporting Manager
The purpose of this position is to carry out routine day-to-day accounting of fund and corporate structures, under the direction of a Financial Reporting Manager, in the Real Assets team.
The Real Assets team works closely with clients to support investments into the development and rental / sale of residential, senior residential and student accommodation, as well as commercial and retail space across the UK.
