Job summary

Gen II (UK) Southampton is seeking a diligent fund accounting professional to support NAV calculations, financial statements, and investor reporting in a hybrid Southampton role. The ideal candidate is ACCA/ACA-part qualified with experience in open-ended funds and familiarity with IFRS/UK GAAP.

The role involves coordinating with senior staff on closing activities, preparing annual accounts, and assisting with audits. A solid grasp of MS Office and fund administration is expected.

Qualifications

• Studying ACCA or ACA, part qualified.
• Experience producing NAV calculation, financial statements or management accounts.
• Experience with IFRS/UK GAAP or similar standards for various entities.
• Fund accounting experience in open-ended environment; audit experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Luxembourg corporate laws or PERE sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform NAV calculations, financial statements, and investor reporting.
• Prepare annual accounts and adjustments between GAAP where required.
• Assist with year-end audits and consolidation packages.
• Support closing activities with balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Liaise with internal teams and external providers as needed.
