Job summary

The Apex Group is seeking a junior fund accounting professional to join our Bank, UK office. You will support NAV reporting, financial statements, and client servicing, with potential audit liaison and transfer agency tasks.

Ideal candidates have 0–1 year accounting experience, ACCA qualification or equivalent, and strong MS Office skills; exposure to fund accounting software like Investran, eFront, Paxus, or Allvue is a plus.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of accounting experience; prior experience in the fund industry would be an advantage.
• ACCA qualified, partly qualified, or holding an equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran, eFront, Paxus, or Allvue would be advantageous.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• A proactive and hardworking attitude, with a willingness to go the extra mile when required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs in accordance with client-required frequencies, with potential review responsibilities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts/financial statements, as well as other reporting requirements as requested by clients, with potential review responsibilities.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure the timely completion of audits.
• Support Transfer Agency transactions as and when required.
• Take overall responsibility for client relationships, including preparing for cash management, responding to inquiries and participating in client meetings.
