Job summary

A global investment manager in City of London is seeking a Fund Accountant to oversee third-party administrators and support Fund Managers in liquidity management and fund structuring. Candidates should be Newly Qualified Accountants (ACA or ACCA) and possess strong technical experience. This hybrid role offers opportunities to assist with fund acquisitions and audits.

Qualifications

• Newly Qualified Accountant from practice or fund administrators.
• Experience in Real Estate Fund audit is preferred but not essential.
• Strong technical experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of third-party administrators for NAV calculations.
• Main point of contact for Fund Managers offering support.
• Assist with acquisitions & disposals of Funds.
• Assist with setting up funds from scratch.
• Work closely with auditors.

The Role: Fund Accountant

The Location: City of London (Hybrid working)

The Client: Global Investment Manager (Real Estate Department)

Responsibilities

• Oversight of third party administrators for NAV calculations, Investor Reporting etc
• Will be main point of contact for Fund Managers and other senior stakeholders offering support around structuring of funds with close liquidity management
• Assist with acquisitions & disposals of Funds you are working on
• Assisting with setting up funds from scratch
• Working closely with auditors

Qualifications

• Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA, or ACCA) from practice or fund administrators
• Experience in Real Estate Fund audit (dealing with REITs or other listed structures) is preferred but not essential
• Strong technical experience
