As a Fund Accountant, you will act as a key conduit between key stakeholders to ensure growth for the business.

Job Description

As a Fund Accountant, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and support strategic decision making to ensure growth for the fund. Moreover, you will oversee financial reporting for the business and collaborate with a range of key stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting. You will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

  • Financial analysis and commentary to advise on strategic decision making.
  • Carryout fund accounting and report on overall performance.
  • Oversee all financial reporting for the business.
  • Assist with forecasting and budgeting.
  • Maintain fixed assets register.
  • Preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS.
  • Oversee junior staff members.
The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be CA/CPA qualified and have previously worked in a Fund Accounting role, with experience in unit transfer pricing and private equity investments.

  • 4+ years of experience within related accounting role.
  • Demonstrable experience in statutory and management reporting.
  • Experience advising senior stakeholders and driving strategic business advice.
  • It is vital you are adaptable and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
