Salary: depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
The Systems Engineering team is growing to help the Allied forces fulfill the full potential of the system and to extend and tailor the capability for existing and emerging export contracts.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the Personnel Security Team.
The opportunity:
To lead the UK programme for the functional systems engineering team. This role reports to the Land Ceptor Chief Systems Engineer via the Certification Lead, working to deliver the UK programme and support the In-Service Support team in maintaining the Land Ceptor product. The key responsibility is to lead a growing team of systems engineers to ensure certification delivery timescales are met under challenging conditions.
With an in-service capability to support and enhance delivery across multiple customers, Land Ceptor offers a great opportunity to build breadth of experience or to leverage existing skills to deliver military capability.
The successful candidate will be adaptable, maintaining vision amid complexity, and skilled at communicating this vision to drive, engage, and influence partners.
This role will significantly impact our delivery to current and future customers, offering the chance to work independently across the company, face genuine engineering challenges, and experience broad professional growth.
Requirements: Experience in systems engineering processes and managing a team to deliver Certificates of Design into Land Ceptor programmes.
Key skills include the ability to adapt to new challenges, assess evidence from various sources, experience with DOORS and requirements management processes, and the ability to organize and manage a small team of systems engineers efficiently to meet project plans.
