Job summary

Capita is hiring a Functional Specialist in Wales for hybrid work (home and clinic-based). You will conduct assessments, analyse health information, and produce evidence-based reports to support benefit decisions. The role emphasizes structured, manageable workloads without direct care shifts, with regular hours 8am-5pm.

Applicants should be NMC/HCPC registered with a valid PIN and at least one year post-registration experience. Strong IT skills and the ability to work remotely are essential.

As a Functional Specialist you’ll use your clinical expertise and analytical skills in a different way - to meet with benefits claimants in person, on the phone or via video link, write reports and make important clinical recommendations, all while enjoying a more structured and flexible way of working.
