This role involves writing reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) make decisions about individuals' health and care. You may be a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic seeking to move away from direct care. The position offers an opportunity to improve assessment skills, provide clinical recommendations, and evaluate health conditions in different settings. We seek compassionate individuals with experience in understanding health conditions/disabilities, good computer skills, impartiality, and strong time management.
The role includes a 12-week training program (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm) with support and mentorship. Starting salary is £38,500 per annum plus a 5% training bonus, increasing upon achieving remote or face-to-face delivery status. The position offers growth opportunities into management, training, coaching, and auditing roles.
Key responsibilities include conducting initial reviews through various assessment methods, analyzing clinical information, creating detailed reports, and developing clinical knowledge about various health conditions.
Successful candidates will undergo government security vetting.
Working hours are flexible, typically between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday, with at least 4 weeks' notice for schedule changes. The role is based on a hybrid model, combining home and assessment center work.
