Rethink is partnering with PeoplePlus to hire a Functional Skills Tutor - English to join the team at HMYOI Werrington.

The Role

Based on-site at HMYOI Werrington, you will deliver Higher-Level English tutoring, working with small groups of prison-based learners to develop their skills, knowledge, and behaviors. You will support them with their long-term goals and aspirations. Our tutors ensure that appropriate training plans are in place, provide advice and guidance when needed, and deliver high-quality courses that engage learners and help them reach their potential.

What are we looking for?

• Level 3 English or equivalent
• Extensive experience and expertise in your field
• Experience in delivering training
• Ability to employ a variety of training methods to engage learners
• A teaching or assessing qualification is desirable. If you do not currently hold such a qualification, we can support you through the necessary qualifications and assessments during your probationary period.
