Salary: GBP24,000 - GBP30,000 per annum, pro-rata (depending on experience & qualifications)

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Functional Skills Tutor.

As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will support students to achieve their functional skills qualifications in both English and Maths up to Level 2. We are seeking a motivated, engaging, and inspiring tutor who can help learners reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2.
• Plan individual learning to meet learner needs and prepare lesson plans.
• Achieve company KPIs and your individual performance targets.
• Plan embedded learning for groups and individuals.
• Develop delivery methods to maximise learner progression.
• Create a supportive learning environment in training centres to develop learners' skills, abilities, and confidence.
• Regularly assess learners' work.

Requirements:

• Experience delivering Functional Skills or Maths and English up to Level 2.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in 14-19 provision.
• Full teaching qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, C&G 7407, CTTLS, DTLLS).
• Passion and desire to teach.
• Willingness to undertake relevant teaching qualifications if necessary.
