Are you passionate about empowering learners and making a real difference in their lives?

We’re looking for an experienced tutor to support E3, Level 1 & Level 2 candidates in both English and Maths. Your role will include ensuring learners gain the skills, knowledge, and qualifications they need to succeed, while delivering engaging lessons aligned with the City and Guilds Functional Skills curriculum.

Your new role
  1. Plan and deliver effective learning programmes using learners’ academic starting points.
  2. Create and adapt Schemes of Work in line with English & Maths specifications.
  3. Develop and implement differentiated techniques to meet individual learner needs, including SEN support.
  4. Provide detailed feedback and track learner progress, ensuring intervention strategies are effective.
  5. Safeguard and support learners’ well-being, reporting any concerns promptly.
  6. Collaborate with learning mentors to foster learner progression.
What you'll need to succeed
  1. Education to A-level standard.
  2. Experience teaching Functional Skills (English & Maths) to diverse groups.
  3. A solid understanding of planning, delivery, and assessment in education.
  4. Knowledge of safeguarding policies and experience supporting learners with SEN.
  5. Resilience, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset.
