Teaching Personnel seeks a part-time educator to support vulnerable learners aged 14–18 below GCSE level in a practical and engaging manner. Ideal candidates will have a teaching qualification or relevant degree, focusing on Functional Skills in English and Maths tailored to individual needs. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities to shape learning sessions, making a positive impact on students' educational journeys.
Location: Home and community-based
Support vulnerable learners aged 14–18 who are working below GCSE level. Your sessions will focus on Functional Skills in English and Maths, delivered in a practical, engaging format that reflects real-world application.
Most pupils have SEMH or SEN needs, and may be out of school.
Teaching qualification with QTS is preferred but a degree with experience is accepted
Enhanced DBS child workforce only certificate or a willingness to obtain one
Substantial experience supporting disengaged or vulnerable learners
Ability to personalise content and pace to suit learner
Consistent, part-time hours that fit around your schedule
Opportunities to shape how sessions run
Regular contact with a friendly, specialist team
Work with pupils on a path back to learning success

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
