We are seeking a Functional Skills Tutor for English. Would you like to make a difference in young people's lives by supporting learners aged 15 to 18?

DUTIES

1. To deliver up to level 2 functional skills English.
2. Delivering via face-to-face sessions in the classroom environment.
3. Planning and delivering engaging lessons, tailoring your teaching to the learners' individual needs.
4. Caseload of 12 to 14 learners in the classroom.
5. All planning and marking is done on site within the working hours; no requirement to complete any additional extracurricular activities.
6. Inspire and motivate learners to achieve qualifications on time.
7. Ensure marking and feedback to the learner is accurate and supports their development.
8. Produce reports.
9. Attend meetings.

ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE

1. Experience in delivering English up to level 2 functional skills or similar.
