An established industry player is seeking a dedicated SEN Functional Skills Tutor to provide personalized education to students in Manchester. This role involves creating engaging lessons that cater to individual needs, helping students who have been out of school regain confidence and reengage with their learning. The ideal candidate will have a strong teaching background, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. Join a supportive team that prioritizes effective learning and professional development, and make a meaningful impact on students' lives as they transition back into education.
Prospero Teaching is looking for an SEN Functional Skills Tutor in Manchester to deliver tuition to Key Stage 1-4 students who are currently out of school.
As a Tutor, you must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons based around Functional Skills to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels. This opportunity is great for an experienced teacher who is looking to step away from the classroom to offer more personalised, enjoyable lessons.
Most of these pupils will have been out of education for some time, so their confidence levels may be very low. It is your responsibility to reengage them in their learning and offer structure back into their daily routine, until they are fully reintegrated back into school.
Prospero Teaching will work with you closely to monitor the progression with each pupil and support effective learning.
