Overview

Functional Skills Tutor (Maths & English) – Location: Gloucester | Hours: Up to 37.5 per week

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths & English sessions (Entry Level to Level 2, plus GCSE Maths).
• Support learners with different abilities, including those with additional needs.
• Create fun, innovative lessons that help students succeed.
• Mark work, give feedback, and track progress.
• Work closely with a friendly, supportive team.

Requirements

• Teaching qualification (L3 or above).
• Experience delivering Functional Skills Maths & English (and GCSE Maths).
• Good classroom management and ICT skills.
• Organised, motivated and able to hit targets.
• Passion for working with young people.
