Our employability team mainly works with adults who are further from the employment market, supporting them in gaining qualifications, boosting confidence, and developing soft skills. Our head office is in County Durham, but our employability provision operates nationally.

Role Information

DUTIES

  • Deliver teaching, learning, and assessment as scheduled with your Tutor Delivery Manager.
  • Plan qualification delivery collaboratively, ensuring compliance with external requirements.
  • Provide support systems to facilitate retention, achievement, and progression.
  • Complete E-registers promptly and monitor learner attendance and performance, reporting effectively to management.
  • Address learner requirements quickly and effectively.
  • Deliver engaging teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure a positive learner experience and timely achievement.
  • Develop and review individual learning plans with SMART targets.
  • Complete assessments and documentation to meet organizational and awarding body standards.
  • Submit portfolios timely for verification, working with IV for quality improvement.
  • Engage in CPD activities and maintain records.
  • Contribute to learner disciplinary procedures when appropriate.
  • Attend standardisation and team meetings at designated centers.
  • Promote safe working practices and safeguarding in line with policies.
  • Provide support, advice, and guidance to learners, customers, and colleagues daily.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Promote equality and diversity throughout the organization.
