Teaching Personnel | £25-£30 per hour
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Functional Skills Tutor to support learners in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. This role focuses on delivering English and/or Maths Functional Skills from Entry Level to Level 2, helping students gain the essential skills they need for further education, employment, and everyday life.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified tutors, teachers, or support staff with relevant experience to make a meaningful impact on student progress in a flexible, rewarding environment.
Role Details:
Location: Southwell, Nottinghamshire
Subject: Functional Skills (English and/or Maths)
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Flexible - part-time and full-time opportunities available
Start Date: Immediate or negotiable
Requirements:
Experience teaching or tutoring Functional Skills in English and/or Maths
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) is preferred
Strong communication and planning skills
Ability to deliver engaging, tailored lessons to meet individual needs
A current DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
