A recruitment agency is seeking SEN Maths Teachers/Tutors in Croydon to teach functional skills English in a small class setting. Overview

SEN Maths Teachers/Tutors required in Croydon (Tutors are welcome to apply)

Location: Croydon, CR0

School Type: Pupil Referral Unit

Start Date: October 2025

Contract: Long-term, temp - perm

Part Time: 3 Days Per Week (Flexible)

Time: 9:30am - 3:30pm (1hr Lunch)

Parking: On-site

Hourly Rate: £30 - £40 depending on your experience and teaching qualifications

Responsibilities

• You will be teaching functional skills English to a small class of up to 8 pupils. Classes will include mixed ages and genders; for example, you could have both Year 7 and Year 11 students in the same group.
• As part of the role, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and assessing lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

Requirements

• QTS or 5 years' experience teaching your subject/s
• Child and Adult DBS on the update service
• The Right to Work in the UK
• SEN experience, particularly with challenging behaviours and SEMH
