Job Title: Functional Skills Maths Tutor
Location: Bexley, London
Contract Type: Temporary, Flexible, Part-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging one-to-one or small group tuition in Functional Skills Maths.
• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that address each student’s unique learning needs.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support students with learning difficulties effectively.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular and constructive feedback to students and their families.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages academic growth.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching Functional Skills Maths.
• Proven experience working with children with learning difficulties.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Must have, or be willing to undertake, an enhanced DBS check.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• PGCE in Maths and/or QTS is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for empowering learners and helping them achieve their potential.
