Job Description:

Based on-site at HMYOI Werrington, the Functional Skills Lead Tutor will be responsible for leading and developing a team to deliver high-quality learning services. Your role will include teaching hours and exemplifying excellent practice.

You will support the Assistant Education Manager in overseeing the performance of the department, maximizing contract performance, developing the curriculum, delivering quality provision, and exceeding partner and learner expectations in line with the company's ethos of ‘Improving People's Lives’.

What are we looking for?

• Level 3 Maths & English or equivalent
• Full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above or equivalent
• Substantial experience and expertise in your field
• Experience in delivering training
• Ability to employ diverse training methods to engage learners
