Job summary

Functional Skills and PSHE Teacher

Are you an experienced and passionate Functional Skills Teacher or Tutor with a desire to work with young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH) or Neurodiversity? Have you had experience of working with young people with mental health (SEMH) needs, and would like to further develop those skills? Are you a creative and engaging practitioner, able to inspire and motivate disengaged young people?

About the Job:

• Working in a therapeutic agricultural setting in Cheshire
• Temporary to possibly permanent role
• Full time
• Delivering Functional Skills and PSHE as part of a creative and therapeutic curriculum to children with neurodiversities and anxiety

About You:

• Experienced Functional Skills Tutor / Teacher
• Able to hold student attention and focus with excellent communication skills
• Promote happiness, independence and an enjoyment of learning
• Effective behaviour management and support skills
• Creative and artistic in your approach to teaching and learning
