Qualifications

Job Overview

As a Functional Assessor, you will work independently to assess individuals applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit, part of the DWP's Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). This involves conducting consultations and producing fair, accurate reports.

Position Details
  • Salary: £40,000 per annum
  • Type: Permanent
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

  • At least 1 year of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional (Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Paramedics)
  • Broad clinical knowledge
  • Experience with computer software, including Microsoft Office
Essential Qualifications

Nurses: Qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Member of RCN

Physiotherapists/Occupational Therapists: Chartered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist, Member of HCPC, MCSP or COT

Paramedics: BSc or Qualified Paramedic, Member of HCPC
