sjb medical is seeking a Functional Assessor to assess how health conditions impact daily lives and work ability. You'll carry out face-to-face and remote assessments, take medical histories and perform examinations, informing high-quality reports for the DWP.

You will work independently within a supportive multidisciplinary team, with regular hours from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, and opportunities for professional development and CPD within a compassionate work environment.

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional with UK registration and post-registration experience.
• Clinical decision-making and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and computer literacy.

Responsabilités

• Assess how health conditions impact daily life and ability to work.
• Take detailed medical histories and conduct examinations.
• Prepare high-quality reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
• Work face-to-face and via video or phone as required.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to continuous learning.
