Job summary
Hollybank Trustees Ltd is seeking a Functional Assessor in Norwich. The role offers a Monday–Friday, hybrid work arrangement with a base salary of £40,000 per year and potential bonuses.
You will conduct structured assessments, review clinical evidence, and produce detailed reports, applying professional judgment within regulatory standards. Applicants must be healthcare professionals eligible to practise in the UK, with on-site presence required for part of every week, and a 90‑minute commuting
Qualifications
- Recognised qualification as a registered healthcare professional (RGN, RMN, RNLD, Paramedic, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Pharmacist)
- Membership with the relevant professional body (where applicable)
- Eligibility to practise in the UK
Responsibilities
- Conducting structured telephone, video or face‑to‑face assessments
- Exploring how a claimant’s condition impacts their daily living
- Reviewing and interpreting clinical evidence
- Producing detailed, high‑quality written reports
- Applying professional judgement in line with regulatory standards
- Working towards quality and productivity targets
- Delivering assessments in a respectful, fair and reassuring manner
