Medacs Healthcare is recruiting a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in Bradford on a permanent, full-time basis with hybrid working. The role suits NMC/HCPC registered nurses or paramedics, physiotherapists or OTs keen to continue clinical work through assessment and reporting.

Qualifications

• Confident in producing high-quality written clinical reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face and telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Engage positively with feedback and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues.
• Attend the assessment centre as required.

Are you an NMC‑registered Nurse or HCPC‑registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist ready for a change from frontline clinical work, but keen to continue using your expertise?

As a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor at Medacs Healthcare, you'll complete Personal Independence Payment (PIP) functional assessments to understand how health conditions affect everyday life. This is a non‑hands‑on clinical role centred on clinical reasoning, analysis and report writing.

The hybrid working model combines home working with time at one of our assessment centres, offering predictable hours, long‑term stability and a healthier work-life balance.

What you'll do

• Conduct face‑to‑face and telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner

What we're looking for

• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed)
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
