Jigsaw Learning Trust is seeking an inspirational and dedicated Deputy Headteacher to join our team at Fulwell Infants from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced leader who is passionate about Early Years and Key Stage 1 education



About the Role:

As Deputy Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our school, working closely with the Headteacher, staff, and governors to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning. You will be responsible for curriculum leadership, staff development, and maintaining our nurturing and inclusive school environment.



The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have a proven track record of outstanding classroom practice, fostering an engaging and effective learning environment.

Possess leadership experience with the ability to inspire, support, and motivate colleagues.

Uphold integrity, articulate a clear vision, and bring management experience within a primary school setting.

Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and the wider community, even when conveying challenging messages.

Show passion for developing and implementing innovative teaching and learning strategies to ensure every child thrives.

Maintain high expectations for achievement and standards.

Be highly organised, resilient, and dedicated to driving continuous school improvement.

Demonstrate a strong commitment to both Trust values and ethos with a willingness to work collaboratively across the Trust.
