Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Primary Teacher to join a mainstream primary school in the Oldham area. The role is full-time and long-term with potential for permanent contract.

You will be responsible for marking, preparing, and planning lessons, following the national curriculum, and delivering high-quality teaching with support from teaching assistants.

Qualifications

• Hold valid QTS or QTLS.
• At least two years' experience teaching.
• Experience with learners with additional needs.
• Experience with behaviour management strategies.
• Prepared to mark, prep and plan lessons.

Responsibilities

• Mark, prepare and plan lessons for a full class.
• Deliver engaging lessons with support from teaching assistants.
• Follow the national curriculum and school policies.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and behaviour management.
• Engage in safeguarding training and continuous professional development.

Job description

Aspire People are looking for a Primary Teachers full time and longer term. This school is a mainstream primary school based in the Oldham area of Greater Manchester and is very accessible via public transport and has free parking.

Your role will also consist of marking, prepping, and planning for lessons. You will also be following the national curriculum. You will have a full class of children with support of teaching assistants within your classroom. This role is full time, with the chance of going onto a permanent contract. Aspire People also offers free CDP and safeguarding training, and daily rates will start from £150 - £175 a day based on experience for our November 2026 vacancies.
