The Role – KS1 Supply Teacher (Year 1 & Year 2)

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for your next rewarding opportunity? We’re seeking a qualified KS1 Teacher (QTS required) to join a friendly, supportive school community. You’ll be guiding children through their Key Stage 1 journey, delivering engaging and creative lessons with a focus on Phonics, Reading, and Year 2 SATs preparation. The Ideal Candidate Will

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent experience in KS1, particularly Year 2
• Be confident with Phonics screening (e.g. Letters & Sounds, Read Write Inc., Jolly Phonics or similar)
• Have experience preparing and supporting pupils for Year 2 SATs in Reading, Writing, SPaG and Maths
• Be confident in using formative and summative assessment to inform planning and progress tracking
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management and a nurturing approach
• Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to inclusive teaching that supports all learners, including those with EAL and SEND
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff alike
