Web Designer and Developer - Central London

Our client, an international company, is looking to recruit a Web Developer with at least 4 years of experience.

The client would like to see candidates with at least 3-4 years of experience as a web developer, with specific expertise in creating, implementing, and maintaining responsive websites.

• A working knowledge of CMS implementation and server-side programming languages is required.
• Solid knowledge of performance improvement and optimization best practices.
• A strong ability to create and manage user-friendly WordPress backend environments for website administrators.
• Established Shopify development experience, including custom themes, modifications, and a fundamental understanding of Shopify Liquid template language and its API ecosystem.
• Knowledge in data migration and synchronization between Shopify and WordPress instances.
• A deep understanding of web design, ecommerce solutions, development processes, and third-party integrations (with warehouses, ERPs, POS systems, etc.).
• Familiarity with A/B testing, SEO, and data-driven practices.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and GTM.
• Knowledge of WCAG and ADA accessibility best practices.
• Ability to work and stay organized across multiple projects.
• Capability to work independently, solve technical problems, mitigate risks, make decisions, and communicate effectively under tight deadlines.
• Approach all projects with a positive attitude and a problem-solving mindset.

This is an exciting new role based in Central London.

The salary range is £50K - £65K plus benefits.
