Fullstack Backend Developer with C# .NET

Working as part of the Digital team, you'll be responsible for the ongoing development and improvements to an eCommerce website as well as other internal applications for this award-winning Travel Company.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the eCommerce web and application development from a technical perspective
• Collaborating with the front-end developer and design resources to deliver improved UI & UX
• Analyzing and suggesting improvements to existing website features
• Identifying ways to automate processes alongside the business lead
• Implementing automated regression testing for the developed software

Skills and Experience:

• Understanding of SOLID development principles
• Experience with projects using Umbraco CMS (or solid backend development skills without Umbraco)
• Knowledge of Continuous Delivery tools and techniques (e.g., Git, Github, TeamCity, Octopus, Jenkins, Selenium)
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services, resource management, and app deployment
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Ability to work with and develop multiple REST APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger, JSON, XML, SOAP
• Experience with PowerBI, PowerQuery, and R
• Knowledge of structured testing and QA approaches such as TDD and BDD
• Team-oriented, positive attitude, capable of working across departments
• Experience working in an agile/Kanban environment
• Willing to challenge existing processes for improvement

The client will consider candidates with strong backend development skills even if they do not have Umbraco experience.

This role is based remotely, with the client located in Central London. The contract duration is 3 months.
