Full-Time Teaching Assistant – ASAP Start Until July – Harrow, Harrow

An OFSTED-rated 'Good' primary school in Harrow is seeking a motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately on a full-time basis until July. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students’ learning in a nurturing and dynamic environment, helping children to reach their full potential.

The Role:
  • Providing general classroom support, assisting the class teacher in the delivery of lessons and maintaining an engaging learning environment.
  • Working with students on 1:1 or small group interventions, helping them with specific learning goals and overcoming any challenges they may face.
  • Supporting children with a range of learning needs and ensuring they are included in all classroom activities.
  • Helping to prepare teaching resources and materials, as well as supporting classroom organisation and displays.
  • Building positive relationships with students, supporting their emotional and social development.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Passionate about working with children and fostering their growth and development.
  • Able to support students with varying levels of ability and provide tailored learning assistance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working as part of a collaborative team.
  • Patient, adaptable, and proactive, with a desire to make a positive difference in students’ learning experiences.
