Job summary

Key Care & Support is seeking a female support worker to join a growing team to assist a lady in Sale with mental health and learning disabilities. You will cook from scratch, manage budgets, assist with maths and English, and provide friendly, motivating companionship during day shifts and occasional sleep-ins.

The role requires full-time commitment (minimum 30 hours) in a 24/7 setting, with a focus on compassionate, practical support and personal development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must cook a wide range of traditional meals.
• Budget household finances.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Enjoy shopping and socialising.
• Willing to work full-time with a minimum 30 hours and complete sleep ins.
• Flexible to take on extra shifts in a 24/7 provision.

Responsibilities

• Support a lady in her 50s living in her own home in Sale.
• Cook meals from scratch (traditional meals).
• Help improve maths and English skills; stay upbeat and chatty to motivate her.
