Job summary

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing Limited is seeking a Support Worker in Doncaster to provide compassionate, person-centred support to a service user in the home and community. The role focuses on companionship, daily task support, and promoting independence within a 4:1 care ratio.

Ideal candidates will have at least 6 months UK care experience, knowledge of autism and challenging behaviour, up-to-date right to work documents and a DBS certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of professional UK care experience.
• Experience with Autism and Challenging Behaviour.
• Provide correct compliance documents and updated right to work.
• Attend Safety Intervention training provided by Sugarman Health and Wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support a male service user in Doncaster with a 4:1 care ratio, focusing on companionship and promoting independence.
• Build a positive relationship with the service user and family, and help with daily tasks and community activities.
