Prospero Teaching is seeking Guaranteed 5-Day/Week Supply Teachers for Primary and Secondary cover in Southampton, UK. Start date January 2027. Enjoy no lesson planning or marking, with a guaranteed 5 days/week supply position to gain practical UK classroom experience.

Ideal candidates are passionate, patient, and capable of engaging diverse learners, including SEN and EAL students, with flexible, collaborative attitudes and strong time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s of Education.
• Certified criminal record check.
• Eligible to work in the UK (UK passport holders, Ancestry Visa, Spousal Visa or Youth Mobility Visa).
• Willing to work full-time hours.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training within the last year (training provided).
• Two recent professional teaching references covering the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons with guaranteed full-time 5 days/week exposure to the UK education system.
• Manage classes effectively and handle challenging behaviour.
• Support SEN and EAL students to help them reach potential.
• Be a strong team player and collaborate with schools and staff.
