A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately on a full-time basis until July. The Role:
  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), both 1:1 and in small groups.
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans and provide tailored support.
  • Assisting with social, emotional, and behavioral needs, promoting inclusion and well-being.
  • Helping to create and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages all children to thrive.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
  • Supporting the preparation of teaching resources and adapting materials to suit the needs of SEN students.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred.
  • Understanding of SEN strategies and how to implement them effectively in a classroom setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
