We are delighted to be working with an Outstanding-rated mixed school in Barnet to recruit a Science Teacher. This full-time, permanent position comes with a TLR, offering the opportunity to lead within the department while teaching all three sciences up to KS4.

Responsibilities
• Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and interactive lessons
• Take on leadership responsibilities within the Science department as part of the TLR role
• Support students in developing analytical and investigative skills in scientific inquiry
• Work collaboratively to enhance the Science curriculum with real-world applications
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as science fairs, STEM clubs, and academic competitions
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related subject
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching Science up to KS4
• Experience in a leadership role or readiness to take on TLR responsibilities
