Job summary

Prime Recruitment Services is recruiting a Plumber for permanent, full-time reactive maintenance work in Derry/Londonderry. You will perform plumbing repairs, installations and servicing across residential properties, both occupied and vacant, with a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires a recognised plumbing qualification or apprenticeship, Ips with experience in domestic/commercial systems, and a valid UK driving licence. You will join a skilled maintenance team on a permanent basis.

Qualifications

• Recognised plumbing qualification or apprenticeship.
• Proven experience in plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Experience in construction or property maintenance.
• Good knowledge of domestic and commercial plumbing systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and general maintenance.
• Work in occupied and vacant social housing properties.
• Diagnose and repair domestic plumbing and heating faults.
• Complete repairs, replacements, installations and servicing.
• Install and replace toilets, baths, washbasins, taps and fixtures.
• Install, maintain and repair cold water storage systems and pipework.
• Undertake Legionella testing and water hygiene duties where required.
• Identify plumbing faults and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Work alongside other tradespeople to complete maintenance requests efficiently.
• Deliver professional, courteous and considerate customer service to tenants and clients.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements and regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment.
• Complete electronic job sheets and maintenance reports accurately.
• Follow company policies, procedures and operational standards.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as required.
