Imperial College London invites applications for one full-time permanent faculty member position at the Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) level, based in the Statistics Section of the Math Department.

The Statistics Section acts as a focal point for coordinating data science research at Imperial College, supporting data-driven research in various application domains, including astrophysics, particle physics, biology, meteorology, medicine, finance, and healthcare social sciences. The Section provides a strong and interdisciplinary research network covering all aspects of big data analysis and machine learning, through links to Imperial’s Data Science Institute, the Mathematics in Medicine initiative, Imperial’s Machine Learning Initiative, and Imperial’s Artificial Intelligence Network.
