Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Perth is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to deliver high-quality outdoor space care and meet SLA standards.

You will carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, and litter picking, and assist with winter services such as gritting and snow clearance.

A Full UK driving licence is preferred; PAI/PA6 spraying licences are a plus. The role is permanent, full-time, 40 hours weekly, paid at £13.45 per hour.

Qualifications

• Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence required (preferred).
• PAI & PA6 spraying licence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying and litter picking.
• Operate hand tools and powered horticultural machinery safely and effectively.
• Deliver winter services including gritting, snow clearance, and Christmas tree installation.
• Report site hazards and relevant information to management.
• Follow health and safety procedures and undertake additional training as required.
