Sole Charge Full Time Early Years Nanny Required in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire

Happy Nest are seeking a kind, caring, and nurturing nanny to join this loving family with one little girl aged 8 months in Knaresborough. North Yorkshire This is a full time position, working five days a week Monday to Friday with some occasional evening babysitting and overnight proxy parenting at weekends.

Now, if you're experienced in caring for babies, youll know theres rarely a dull momentand this little one is no exception! She's full of curiosity and already eager to get moving, ready to explore every corner of her world. Your days will be filled with giggles, peekaboo, first adventures, and lots of cuddles. We're looking for someone who can bring warmth, fun, and creativity to the everyday, helping this little explorer learn and grow through play, stories, songs, and sensory activities.

Hours:

Full-time role, working five days,

Monday to Friday 6am-6pm are the core hours but only 50 hours will be required in that time.

Additional evening babysitting and occasional proxy parenting at weekends with notice given in advance

Nanny Duties:

On a day-to-day basis, this nanny role will encompass the things youre well experienced in, and a dab hand at. You'll be familiar with preparing healthy meals for baby and enjoy researching new tastes for her to experiment as she completes her weaning journey.

And given your love for the early years, and for supporting baby with all her needs as she grows and develops, you'll love the opportunity to take her to regular classes and activities finding new adventures for her to enjoy and explore.

Mum and Dad really want this to be a nanny and family partnership, they are keen for their little one to see and explore the wonder of everything around her Planning everything to engage and stimulate her and learn with her surroundings. She will enjoy physical activities too as time goes by so during her nap it would be good to plan some trips to the park or a garden picnic or two or batch cook some tasty lunches and take care of all nursery related duties including babies laundry.

This role does sound like an absolute dream, and we would like to find a nanny that will continue with her established routine Its a happy easy-going household with lots of fun and laughter they will welcome a new nanny to support them as mum returns to work full time.

Essential requirements

· Fully enhanced DBS (criminal record) check on the update service.

· Full 12 hour Paediatric first aid dated within the last 3 years

· Excellent Checkable references

· Previous experience working with similar age children in a nanny role or long term childcare role for at least 7 years.
