About the Role
We're seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school from September 2025 based in Derby Centre. You'll support a mainstream Year 3-6 cohort, delivering targeted academic and pastoral care. Your focus will include one-to-one and small-group work with pupils with special educational needs-particularly those with autism, ADHD, speech/language difficulties, SEMH, and MLD.
Collaborating closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals (e.g. speech and language therapists), you'll help adapt learning materials, support intervention sessions, and play an active part in tracking progress and contributing to SEN meetings and EHCP reviews.
