Job summary

Mezzino Limited is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming student accommodation environment. You will ensure that the residence is kept in pristine condition, supporting high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

This is a full-time vacancy, 37.5 hours per week, with hours from 9:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. You will report any maintenance issues promptly and assist with move-ins and move-outs as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks in communal areas such as kitchens, lounges, bathrooms, hallways and floors.
• Clean toilets including floors, walls, WC pans, urinals, sinks, hand basins and fittings.
• Ensure rooms are cleaned to a high standard between resident check-ins and check-outs.
• Restock supplies like toilet rolls, soap and towels in communal toilets.
• Report maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager promptly.
• Maintain health and safety in cleaning practices.
• Assist with deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning tasks as needed.
• Empty waste bins and manage waste appropriately.
• Work with the team to ensure smooth operation and resident satisfaction.
• Secure windows and doors in unoccupied flats.
• Operate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning materials and equipment; report stock levels.
• Keep cleaning store locked when not in use.
• Operate various cleaning equipment per training provided.
• Inspect apartments and bedrooms; perform re-inspections when necessary.
• Support resident move-ins and move-outs, ensuring rooms are clean and presentable.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as directed by the Accommodation Manager.
