Responsibilities
  • Training can be provided.
  • As Hotel Receptionist, you are the first and last point of contact for our guests, and your friendly welcoming attitude is one of the key parts to making our guests stay as memorable as possible.
  • Check-in/check-out, verifying reservations, ensuring payments and folios are balanced, arranging a number of guest requests, coordinating with all departments across the property, and providing guests with first class local knowledge and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
  • Carry out guest check-in and check-out
  • Manage online and phone reservations
  • Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
  • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
  • Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner coordinating with Duty Managers
  • Liaise with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished
  • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
  • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Requirements
  • Excellent Customer service attitude and a Can Do Attitude
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience: Customer service — 1 year (preferred)
