Job summary

Renault Trucks invites you to join the Heavy Vehicle Apprentice Technician programme in Swindon. This three-year apprenticeship covers maintenance, repair, and inspections of Renault Trucks vehicles with on‑the‑job training under a skilled mentor.

You will train at the Renault Trucks UK Training Academy in Whetstone, Leicester, with block-release sessions and regular workplace assessments, developing skills for high‑voltage systems and diagnostics while earning a recognized qualification.

Qualifications

• Pass Level 1 English and Maths (or exemption)
• Enthusiasm for starting a career in the commercial vehicle industry
• Commitment to completing the apprenticeship and achieving the IMI Level 3 qualification

Responsibilities

• Work in the workshop learning vehicle servicing, repairs and inspections
• Develop skills in diagnostics and electric vehicle systems
• Attend block release training at the Renault Trucks UK Training Academy and complete assessments
