Northwest Arkansas Community College seeks a Full-Time Faculty member in Sociology to teach various courses including General Sociology and Social Problems. The Full-Time Faculty Sociology position will be responsible for teaching courses such as General Sociology, Social Problems, Marriage and Family, and others in on-ground, hybrid, and online class formats.Essential Duties
This position provides instruction in Sociology (15 credit hours per semester). This position will:
Professional Development
The faculty will be responsible for maintaining current knowledge in their field. The college does have opportunities for faculty to apply for professional development funding every other year on a first-come come first-served basis, with the maximum amount specified by the budget process. The position should maintain professional and continuing education and keep any necessary certifications in current standing.
Service to the College
The faculty will be required to provide service to the college such as:

Rate of pay: determined by faculty scale placement (education and years of experience)

Applicants should be committed to the learning college philosophy as well as the goals and objectives of Northwest Arkansas Community College.
