Discover a truly rewarding dental role in one of the most beautiful and unique locations in the UK.

Smile Together Dental CIC is offering an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced and community-minded Dentist to join our team on the stunning Isles of Scilly. As the sole dental provider for the islands, you’ll deliver high-quality NHS and private care, as well as emergency treatment, to a welcoming and close-knit island community and its visitors.

This isn’t just a job – it’s a lifestyle. Imagine starting your day with a coastal walk, kayaking after work, or enjoying panoramic sea views on your lunch break. The Isles of Scilly offer an unrivalled quality of life, with short commutes, fresh air, and a real sense of connection – with your patients, your surroundings, and your purpose.

Why Join Us?

At Smile Together, we’re not just a dental practice – we’re the UK’s first dental practice to be B Corp certified, a Community Interest Company, and proud to be employee-owned. This means we’re committed to doing business in a way that benefits our people, the communities we serve, and our planet. From reducing our environmental “toothprint” with sustainable practices, to playing an active role in improving oral health across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, our mission is bigger than just dentistry – it’s about changing lives, and we want you to be part of that mission.

What Makes Us Different?

Employee-Owned: Be more than an employee – become a co-owner, shaping the future of Smile Together.

B Corp Certified: We’re committed to social and environmental responsibility, ensuring our business is a force for good in the world.

Community Focused: Every day, we work to improve the health and wellbeing of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly’s residents, with special attention to vulnerable and underserved communities.

What makes this role stand out?

  • Three-bedroom accommodation provided, just minutes from the practice
  • Work-life balance that allows time to truly enjoy your surroundings and wellbeing
  • Relocation package and personal support to help you settle in smoothly
  • Fully digital practice including Trios scanner
  • Experienced dental nurse support
  • Ongoing CPD and support through our Smile Together Training Academy
  • A chance to actively contribute to community health initiatives and outreach

Competitive Salary:

Salary: £78,750 + full benefits + accommodation included

What we’re looking for:

  • A GDC-registered (without conditions) Dentist with solid experience in general dentistry and confident in managing urgent care
  • Someone who thrives independently while staying connected to a wider, supportive team
  • A person who values their patients, community, and professional growth
  • If you’re ready for a refreshing change and want to combine clinical excellence with a unique island lifestyle, we’d love to hear from you.

Paid Indemnity, GDC Registration and 100% lab fees covered:

We’ve got you covered so you can focus on your career.

Workforce Benefits Package:

Access to the superannuation pension scheme, 27 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata), National Living Wage Employer, and an extra paid day off to celebrate your birthday!

Unique Employee Ownership Benefits:

Shareholder Opportunities: Have a real voice in shaping the future of our employee-owned company.

Health and Wellbeing:

Comprehensive Wellbeing Support: Through our Health Assured Programme, you’ll have access to tools for mental and physical health, including 24-hour helplines, structured therapy, and more.
